Lex-Fix Abogados y Traductores is a Spanish firm of English speaking solicitors, barristers, translators and interpreters based in Huércal-Overa (Almería) that specialises in Tax, Inheritance, Business and Administrative law. With over 10 years combined experience in their respective fields, founding partners Daniel and Amber offer their clients a wide range of services.
Completely bilingual in English and Spanish and well versed in Spain's culture and its legal system, our fully licenced and qualified team at Lex-Fix offers our clients fair, honest and crystal clear advice and assistance to overcome any language barrier and challenges.
All the members of the Lex-Fix team hold all the qualifications required under Spanish law to practice in their respective fields. Amber has translated for me many times a the hospital. She is an extremely patient and lovely lady. She always checks I am understanding everything that is being said and she translates everything. Other claimed translators have only said “he says you are ok” or “nothing to worry about” when the doctor has been going on for nearly a minute. With Amber at Lex-Fix this doesn’t happen. You get the full message and not just the gist of what is going on. Would highly recommend her services if you don’t want to miss a thing, especially with something so serious as medical issues. She is also registered with the hospital. Will also be using Dan’s services soon as need to get wills and inheritance sorted out
I never ended up being a client at Lex-Fix because from the get go they were very transparent with me about the fact that criminal law is not one of their specialist fields. My previous advisor told me I would have to pay a considerable fine to the tax office after receiving a letter from them. Dan took one look at the letter and told that there was no fine to pay at all. All the Tax Office needed was some clarification regarding my UK Government Pension. Amber came with me to the tax office to get a few more details and Dan prepared a reply for them in writing. All the technical legal Spanish was explained to me in simple English that I could understand and they were extremely helpful. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Dan and Amber are both English and Spanish speaking. It is just great to deal with people who understand both languages perfectly. For any legal advice or translation service, Dan is the lawyer/solicitor (abogado!) you are looking for and Amber is the best interpreter I have ever used. Young, friendly and hardworking people.
